The Final Decision

End of 2011, made up my mind to go through  with weight loss surgery. Bypass was a no-go and I really wanted the Lap-Band. Went to the seminar, called my insurance company, and set-up my consult with my surgeon. Well, according to him, lap-band was not going to work. My choice: vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG).

Weight Loss Journey

My weight loss journey ultimately began in 2011. I began scouting information on ways I could lose weight. Years before, I've tried everything...Weight Watchers, Adipex, B-12 injections, metformin, going to the gym, and even had several trainers. I'd lose the weight only to put it back on. I have Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) which has stopped my metabolism dead in its tracks. My next plan of action: weight loss surgery.

Purpose

The general purpose of this blog is to provide more insight and information into my journey through weight loss, transitioning to natural, and skin/beauty journey. Hopefully, this will all be very interesting as my blogging experience into watching me transform...into the EVOLUTION OF ME.
